On the contrary, attachment is quite different to love. It is a powerful binding that two persons have developed. This attachment may either be favourable or harmful. A healthy attachment gives room for the person to grow, but an unfavourable attachment can be highly destructive. The significant disparity between love and attachment poses that love is required for one another, while attachment is necessary for oneself. Love is described as a powerful interest a person feels for another. Love is intense and uses different methods. It may require a person to develop a healthy bond with another person and look out for the individual despite any situation. This unquestioning love will most times apply to hurting oneself, which may be in terms of self-sacrifice. Love causes the person to look out for another more than he does for oneself. Love consists of an intense emotional relationship, awareness, affection, and closeness. When one is in love with another individual, one usually does not expect anything in return. They possess the capacity to be delighted at the victory of another and desire the best for that individual. Unlike in attachment, in love, the person is not hypnotized by one’s delight but only by the other person’s success and happiness.

Attachment is described as an intense bond created between two persons. People can get connected to a lot of things. It may be a physical object, including money, a house, books, or their jobs. They may also get connected to individuals such as their lovers, family, or friends. The significant disparity between attachment and love shows that attachment is needed towards one’s self. They get attached to another person not for the individual’s success but to their desire to have someone. A healthy attachment can possess a favourable effect on the person since it lets the person grow and promote. Although, if an individual does not possess proper supervision over one’s attachment, it may result in a negative attachment. An instance focuses on a relationship if the two individuals are suffering and there is no love between them, yet they remain together because they are scared of being lonely; this is an unfavourable attachment. These two parties know that they are not perfect for each other but seem scared to end the relationship so they don’t end up alone.
