Gboyega Aribisogan, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has been removed from his position due to impeachment.
According to information received by NewsXtra, ten members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly voted to remove him from office on Monday morning.
On Sunday, Aribisogan spread the word that a man named Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who had previously served as governor of Ekiti State, was planning to impeach him.
Olubunmi Adelugba has been elected as the next speaker of the house at this time.
