Ike Nwamu received his high school education at Westchester Country Day in High Point, which is located in the state of North Carolina. The following step was for him to enrol at Cleveland State University, which is located in Cleveland, Ohio, for the 2011–2012 school year. The next year, he made the move to Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he was enrolled for the academic years 2013–2015. After that, he made the decision to transfer to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), which is located in Paradise, Nevada.
