Former Big Brother Naija contestant Oluwabusayo Abiri, better known by her stage name Khloe, revealed in a recent interview that she considered suicide when photos of her butt augmentation surgery went viral.
Khloe had a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) in an unnamed Lagos hospital in the summer of 2020, and pictures from the procedure appeared online the following month. In an exclusive, it was posted on the website of the notorious anonymous gossip blogger Gistlover.
Without implants, BBL can improve the size and contour of the buttocks with a specialised fat transfer process.
The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery states that liposuction can reduce the size of problem areas such as the waist, belly, and thighs. The buttocks receive a strategically placed injection of some of this fat.
Khole, who was eliminated from the 2018 BBNaija reality show together with KBrule after they both received three strikes, never revealed that she underwent plastic surgery despite revealing a more toned body in leaked photographs.
She verified the suspicions of her 1.6 million Instagram followers when she posted about the aftercare services of a well-known Lagos plastic surgery clinic. She said her post-op care was handled expertly, according to the ad.
During a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the reality show star stated that the notorious photo was taken by someone who took advantage of her at the time.
She questioned why “someone with a soul” would take a picture of her asleep after surgery and then send it to a “stupid dirty-ass blog.”
The reality star, no stranger to media attention and controversy, revealed, “I was suicidal; that was the only time social media got to me in my whole life.”
She said, “I never thought that would be an experience,” when asked if she had ever considered suicide.
Khole, who recently declared she would never go under the knife even if handed N100 million, shed additional light on the terrifying incident, even though she seemed to love the attention her new form gets.
“You know, I laugh when they say people are suicidal,” she remarked. My response is always the same: “Don’t say you have a spiritual problem because how would you want to take your own life? But I couldn’t think of anything when that picture got to my phone; everything was black.”
“The only thing I can say that is risky in my life is an adventure, skydiving, ziplining, all those things that I love to do, but other things than that? I no dey near am.”
Ms Khloe revealed that she prevailed over the challenge with the support of her loved ones. She thanked God for her supportive family and friends.
She said, “The first thing my mom asked was what would happen to her when I die.”
The 28-year-old decided not to elaborate because recalling the experience brought back painful feelings.
“That night was dark. I don’t even want to talk about it; I have bumps already.”
But her advice to those struggling with suicidal thoughts was to think about those who care about them.
“For anybody trying to take their life, please think of your mother or father. You might be at peace or be in hell, but the pain will linger on their mind every time, every day,” she said.
She claimed during the interview that she has never had “transactional sex” with a man, even though her new physique seems to be attracting a lot of attention.
She stated, “I will never sleep with any man for money. Regarding relationships, I am taking my time to find the right man.”
To paraphrase, “Hundreds may come, and I may opt to flirt with the hundred, but I know what I’m looking for and the kind of man.”
In addition, she admitted that she had taken precautions to avoid unintended pregnancies, despite her desire to start a family.
She continued, “Since I want a kid if I find a responsible man, we can. But I cannot get pregnant if I don’t want it. I have an implant; my womb is sealed.”
Khloe also chose to disregard inquiries about her romantic history.
“I have never been in a relationship before. If you are my ex, it never happened. I don’t know you,” she retorted cynically.
Khloe, a fashion designer and model, has released a skincare brand and a weight gain product since she left the Big Brother house.
