Osun senator: Nyesom Wike, other G5 governors will soon lose relevance

Nyesom Wike

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial district in Osun State, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi has cautioned Governor Wike led G–5 of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to be wary of their actions within the party declaring that they (G-5) will soon lose relevance if they failed to listen to the voice of reasoning.

He said that by their posture, the newly inaugurated Executive Governor of Osun, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke has automatically become the leader of the party in South West and will deliver the zone for PDP.

Fadahunsi who made the remarks while speaking with newsmen stated that the so-called G-5 governors are political desperados who would soon become irrelevant.

The lawmaker said: We don’t have anything to fear, if you follow my write up you will see that the group we are talking about apart from Wike that is leading political desperados almost all of them are outgoing Governors and only my junior brother in Ibadan that has enormous problems in Ibadan is the one that’s going to be around.

“The remaining governors in the next few months will be ex-Governors, you will see that Oyetola left this place on Friday he is now an ex-Governor.

“He can’t even access Osogbo let alone accessing Abere, so be it the others who are still galvanizing, wasting enormous energy, and funds from their state. They’re galvanizing all over the world looking for what they have not lost because of their personal interest in politics.

According to him, during the Jonathan regime these people you are talking about we call them political ‘baseje’ spoilers. The Jonathan regime has taught PDP a great lesson.

“If they had listened to me at day one they would have ignored them, they are now political entertainers who are foolish entertaining their own subjects as if the slaves are entertaining colonial masters.
