Premier League club Southampton have joined the list of teams rumoured to be interested in signing Lorient attacker Terem Moffi.

Moffi’s excellent play for Lorient this season has garnered the attention of several Premier League teams.

The Nigeria international has significantly contributed to Lorient’s success this season, scoring ten goals in 15 league games.

Several clubs have been linked to the player, including Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Crystal Palace.

Ligue 1 team, Olympic Lyon, also apparently have Moffi on their radar.

The Athletic reports that Southampton have long been a fan of Moffi, even since he played in Lithuania for Kauno Zalgiris and Riteriai.

The Saints are looking for any way to improve their offence, and they see Moffi as a possible game-changing addition to their roster.

Joe Aribo, also from his country, is an integral member of the Southampton squad.
