Tems featured in soundtrack of Black Panther 2 trailer

Fast-rising Nigerian musician, Temilade Openiyi aka Tems, has described her collaboration with Canadian rapper, Drake, as unbelievable.

Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has featured in the soundtrack of Black Panther 2 trailer.

Marvel Studios released the trailer of the anticipated movie in the early hours of Sunday.

In the trailer, the singer delivers a soulful rendition of Bob Marley’s song, No Woman No Cry, before transitioning to Alright, Kendrick Lamar’s single, which dropped in 2015.

The trailer shows a family and nation mourning American actor, Chadwick Boseman, who played King T’Challa in the 2018 hit movie.

Boseman died in 2020 at the age of 43, after battling Colon cancer.

The sequel of the movie was directed by Coolgar, and it is scheduled to be released in November, 2022.

Black Panther 2 is built around a fictional African country and featured a predominantly black characters.

The movie broke box office record and set new ones across the world.

This development further catapult Tems’ impressive music career in the global music industry.

She launched into the international music scene with her feature in Essence, Wizkid’s song.
