Abdul-Malik Abu is a professional basketball player who plays for s.Oliver Wuerzburg in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). Additionally, he is a member of the D’Tigers, which is the basketball team representing Nigeria at international competitions.

At the beginning of his collegiate career, Abdul-Malik Abu played with the North Carolina State Wolfpack, which competed in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). In September 2018, Abu signed a contract to play in the Croatian League and the Alpe Adria Cup with Vrijednosnice Osijek.
In the month of August 2019, Abu signed a contract to play for the team Sporting CP, which competes in the Portuguese League. Abu signed a contract with Lokman Hekim Fethiye Belediyespor, a team competing in the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi, on October 1, 2020.
