August Alsina is an American artist who used to be with Def Jam Recordings. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on September 3, 1992, and his full name is August Anthony Alsina Jr. With the help of The-Radio Dream’s Killa Records and Def Jam Recordings, he dropped his first mixtape, The Product, in 2012, and then The Product 2 and his debut EP, Downtown: Life Under the Gun, in 2013.
