Three ‘armed robbers’ nabbed for ‘killing’ vigilante in Lagos

The Nigeria Police Force says its investigation shows that Boko Haram, Ansaru and other terror groups are getting support from some Nigerians.

Wednesday, November 25, 2020 was a gruesome morning, as a vigilante security officer, whose name could not be ascertained before press time was killed by three dare-devil armed robbers.

The sad event, which occurred at the Lerato Junction in the Ahmadiyya area in the early hours of Wednesday, saw the three robbers apprehended by combined efforts of youths of the area.

The robbers were beaten to coma and stripped naked.

Newsmen learnt that all efforts to get police intervene and possibly stop what looked like the gradual killing of the suspected armed robbers proved abortive as police, our correspondent learnt, was told but declined reporting to the scene as a result of the treatment meted out to them during the #EndSARS Protest.
