Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has given public workers days off work so they can get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the January 29 deadline.

From January 24 to 27, public workers will get time off based on their salary bracket, per a circular issued by State Head of Service Hakeem Muri-Okunola.

“To this end, Mr Governor has graciously approved some work-free days to enable public servants to collect their Permanent Voters Cards from their respective local governments/local council development areas.”

Accordingly, public officials and accountants were asked to check for conformity in advance of the next vote.
