Unoccupied storey building collapses in Lagos

An unoccupied storey building located at Ilogbo-Eremi, in Olorunda Local Council Development Area, LCDA of Lagos State has collapsed.

Fortunately, there were no casualties recorded in the disastrous incident.

The building which was said to have collapsed around midnight on Friday, was unoccupied at the time of the collapse.

Following the incident, the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Samson Olatunde, popularly called SAMOLA, in company of top council officials later visited the site expressed gladness to God for no life lost.

Meanwhile, officials of Lagos State Building Control Agency, LASBCA, and other emergency responders had since established standard procedures at the scene to prevent secondary incident.
