Popular actor Yul Edochie has voiced his opinion on the trending subject of vote-buying and selling on social media.
There were allegations of vote-buying at the just-concluded Ekiti governorship won by Biodun Oyebanji of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former presidential aspirant argued it’ll be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than to convince people who can barely feed not to sell their votes.
Yul Edochie said: “They’re people in Nigeria who feed once a day. Many don’t know where their next meal will come from. So many who haven’t eaten in days due to poverty. Millions of Nigerians actually.
“How do you convince such people not to sell their votes for 5k or less?”
