Monaco manager believes Minamino signing is done deal

After the game against Cercle Brugge, Philippe Clement confirmed as a fact that Minamino will sign for Monaco. The Liverpool player has decided to move to Ligue 1 following an agreement with Liverpool.

“I am very happy, I have known this for a long time. He was one of our main targets. Everyone here is convinced of the quality that he will bring to the team.” Clement told the media.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the agreement for Minamino has been finalized. The Japanese player will join Monaco for 15 million euros up front, with another three million euros in add ons.

Minamino is currently on holiday and has still not completed his medical at Monaco. Therefore, it could be some time before the official announcement is made, at least until the start of July.

This season, the ex-Southampton man has been given limited minutes by Klopp, which is why all parties agreed to the deal which Monaco are very excited about.
