Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa loses mom

Former Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa has hit back at critics of his move to Saudi Arabia outfit Al-Nassr following calls for him to be dropped from the national team of Nigeria, where he is the first vice captain.

It’s a sad day for Super Eagles star Ahmed Musa following the passing of his mother, Sarah Moses, on Thursday.

Musa’s mother died in a hospital in Abuja.

Musa, who is currently in Nigeria is reportedly injured and has been ruled out of action for his club side Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, Musa is in Nigeria to continue his recuperation from his injury and is aiming to join up with his team-mates before the end of February.

However, the 26-year-old has started the year 2019, with some sad news as he from confirmed his mother has passed away in Abuja after intensive care.
