The live music streaming site, Spotify, experienced a temporary outage in the United States on Friday night. As a result, several users could not access the platform to listen to live music.

The platform can now again be accessed online. Several users of Spotify reported that streaming abruptly stopped, and several customers said they logged out of their accounts but could not get back in again.

Early on Saturday morning, a Twitter account known as Spotify Status, which gives regular status updates on the music platform, made the following statement: “Everything’s looking much better now!”

An earlier tweet stated, “Something’s not quite right, and we’re looking into it. Thanks for your reports!”

Downdetector, a website that analyses outages through some sources, including user reports, reported that more than 45,000 individuals were affected from the United States at the peak of the disruption. This indicates that the issue could have impacted more than 45 thousand customers in the United States.

At about 3 a.m. on Saturday, a chart posted by Downdetector revealed the news.
